Dan-yr-Ogof, 23rd – 25th March 2018

Dan-yr-Ogof, National Showcaves of Wales, Abercraf, SA9 1GJ,

Unfortunately we have been informed that the Showcaves and other activities will not be open during our stay.

However we will still be staying in the Caravan Park with its Hard Standings, Electric Hook up, Toilets and Showers as normal.

It is still well worth a visit as this is a beautiful area to visit with some stunning local walks.

We are staying on the main commercial site, so this means Hard Standings, Electric Hook ups, Toilets and Showers. There is also a shop(gift shop type, not food shop) and a cafe.

This weekend gives you the opportunity to visit the wonderful Dan-yr-Ogof Showcaves site. There’s the showcaves to explore(of course), walk amongst the dinosaurs, pan for “gold”, visit the farm, the childrens’ play area and lots more. There’s a cafe if like me you forget to bring food or just fancy a cuppa and also loads of fabulous walks in the National Park.

No need to book, just check in with SWDA Steward
