All info below is dependant on local and government Covid-19 restrictions on the day.

As is usual for our early season visit to Fontygary we will be on the main Camping Field so there will be Electric Hookups with full use of the Toilet and Shower Block.

On site there are bars,and restaurants, a cafe, a fish and chip shop, children’s play areas and a leisure complex with swimming pool, it’s lovely place to visit right on the edge of the South Wales Coast with great walks along the beach or cliff tops.

10 Pin Bowling

Saturday Evening

Covid restrictions allowing we will book the on-site 10 pin bowling alley for our use on the Saturday night , so if we can, come along and join us for a giggle and a chat and who knows, maybe even become SWDA bowling champion 2021.

Please note that filling out and sending the booking form does not reserve you a pitch, your pitch is not confirmed as booked or reserved until payment has been received.

We have been allocated a very limited number of pitches so please book asap to avoid disappointment

Travelling from the East

  • Head for M4 Cardiff
  • Take the M4 West Junction 33 and head for Barry / Cardiff International Airport
  • As you approach the Airport, follow the signs for Rhoose and Fontygary.
  • When you’re in Rhoose village, continue until you see our brown tourist signs, Fontygary Caravan Park is just on the left under the bridge.

Travelling from the West

  • Take the M4 East
  • Exit at Junction 33 and follow the signs for Barry / Cardiff International Airport
  • As you approach the Airport, follow the signs for Rhoose and Fontygary.
  • When you’re in Rhoose village, continue until you see our brown tourist signs, Fontygary Caravan Park is just on the left under the bridge.

Travelling via Bridgend

  • Follow the B4265 towards Cardiff Wales Airport(Rhoose), just after Aberthaw Power Station turn right towards Rhoose, follow this road until you see a turn on the right at the traffic lights for Fontagary Leisure Park
