This May Day Bank Holiday is a THS at Talybont Farm, lovely level field with water and elsan point, it adjoins Talybont Farm Camping Site, a short walk through there brings you out into Talybont itself which has a couple of nice pub/restaurants and a shop or two for last minute supplies or if you fancy something more vigorous then there are some fantastic walks and cycleways as you would expect from the Brecon Beacons National Park, Talybont is on the side of the Monmouthshire Brecon Canal so you can walk or cycle along the towpath into Brecon one way or Crickhowell the other.

No need to book, just show up and check in with the stewards.

Directions from Brecon

Follow the A40 towards Abergavenny after the roundabout to the east of Brecon on the bypass drive for about 5 miles then turn off towards Talybont, don’t go into Talybont but turn right about 1/4 mile before the village into the rear entrance to the site where you will see us camped, SWDA signs will be out.

We are not in the commercial site so please keep an eye out for the yellow SWDA signs.
