For those that are familiar with our old field at Happy Valley this new location is just a stones throw away. We will be camping on a gently sloping grass field with no hard standings.

There are some lovely walks through the sand dunes and to the dog friendly beach where you can turn left and head for the river mouth at Ogmore by Sea or turn right and head for the busy town of Porthcawl.

Fresh water and Elsan point within the field

Booking is not required, just turn up, introduce yourself to the steward and enjoy.

Directions

From the East

Take junction 35 off M4 1st Left at roundabout along A473 then A48 and then onto A4016 following signs for Porthcawl about 2 miles before Porthcawl you will drive up ‘Three Steps Hill, past Tythegston and then after cresting the hill, drive past the entrance to Happy Valley, after about 200 yards follow the SWDA signs to our camping field.

From the West

Junction 37 follow A4229 towards Porthcawl, once at the outskirts of Nottage\Porthcawl start following signs for Bridgend and drive on the A4016 for approx 1mile, almost to the top of Danygraig Hill and about 200 yards before the turning in to Happy Valley you will see the SWDA signs directing you into our new field.

DO NOT turn into Happy Valley, we are at a different location.
